In 1963 Doug Bledsoe was 7-1 as a pitcher his junior year with his only loss coming in the State Finals against East Rome. His senior year he was 9-0 as he led his team to another State Runner-Up finish. His 16-1 record was the best in school history. Another great All-Stater, Stanley Edwards finished his career with a 15-1 pitching record.
